I am Tania Saleem, I am a writer and poet. I have done many things in life but this is how I want to be known. I started to write since I was a child. I always kept myself surrounded by books but with the passage of time as I tried to be more practical I opted for electronic Engineering . I did my bachelors from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology. After one year of completion of my studies I started teaching in the same university. During teaching in MUET I did my Masters in Telecommunication and control and coauthored a book on Automation and Control.

After 2005 earthquake in Hazara division and Azad Kashmir, I joined development sector. During that period I worked on two UN funded projects. One was Unicef funded project titled "Child Protection and Empowerment of Adolescents" and another UN Habitat funded program titled "Rural Housing Reconstruction". I worked as Zonal Program Coordinator of Sungi in thier Muzaffarabad Zone. I have also worked in the area of monitoring , evaluation and reporting.

During my development Sector days I did masters in Women and Gender Studies from Allama Iqbal open University Islamabad. I have also worked as Country Program Manager of a Mental Health and Development program.

I have done certificate course in Humanistic Counseling and now I am doing diploma in the Integrative Counseling. Currently I am LLB part III student.

After being associated with many diversi fields I am heading towards unification and integration of all my experiences by actively perusing my first love i.e literature as as writer and poet.

And this is how I want to be known......
